Robotics

Robotics forms the crux of EDUPRIME Learning solutions, a model on which we study applied Sciences & much more.

Physics in PRIME

Robotics technology is a pillar of 21st century innovation. It highlights the growing importance in a wide variety of application and emphasizes its ability to inspire technology education. Robotics is positioned to fuel a broad array of next-generation products and applications in fields as diverse as manufacturing, health-care, national defense and security, agriculture and transportation.

Today we have access to a very rich set of sophisticated sensors, powerful computing platforms and all variety of agile mechanical devices, it would seem that nothing should hold us back in achieving the dream of a fully autonomous robot agent which could carry out a variety of complex tasks in unstructured environments and at the same time be able to interact cooperatively with humans. However this is still far from being achieved. Considerable advances have nevertheless been made. The term robot intelligence could be justified by its usefulness to characterize some very desirable, human-like features, to be implemented in robots. In particular, a robot that should be useful to humans as a tool or even a partner, should be able to communicate with its human users on a reasonably high level, it should be able to “understand”. Certainly, there are various levels of understanding that may have to be defined, giving measures of such an intellect.

I just want the future to happen faster. I can’t imagine the future without robots.

Given the scope of embedded systems and its robotic applications, EDUPRIME has designed a course which includes the basic and advanced versions of different robotic designs. The major concept behind this is to give them exposure and hands on experience on building and programming robots. The early exposure to robotics can lead them to invent and discover several applications in future. The program strives to make the masters in the field of robotics.

Right now, I think robots are where it's at. And yes, I'm biased. Robots and space, because with home rocket kits and Lego Mindstorm sets, people can get involved. I was raised on Transformers and GoBots, so I can't imagine what kids who are building real robots are dreaming about. - Daniel Wilson
